This is a relatively new LCBO; built within the past five years. It's basically visible from the 402, but getting there requires you to take a right-handed spiralling route through several exit ramps - take the southbound exit #6 to Hwy 40 (Modeland Rd), then immediately take the first exit to Exmouth Street (County Road 22). From there, keep turning right at the traffic lights and you should eventually wind up in the Walmart SmartCentre area, which is where you want to be.

This is an easy place to stop for a few minutes, even if you have no intention of doing anything else in Sarnia. There is plenty of parking space, and it has longer hours of operation than the other liquor stores in the city (though it's still closed by 9-10 pm, depending on the day of the week). It is no longer located at Lambton Mall Rd. and Exmouth St. - the new location is on Quinn Drive, a couple blocks away from the old spot.

Most modern LCBOs are spacious, but this one is doubly so. There is a large walk-in cooler at the back with a wide selection of domestic craft offerings, as well as plenty of macro beer/imports/cider and random sixers. There is also a wall of 7-8 refrigerated shelves just outside the cold room devoted primarily to premium craft beer, as well as another row further back (which is mostly chilled wine and coolers). The best thing about this LCBO is the fact that almost all of its beer stock is *always* kept refrigerated, from the time they receive it until the time you buy it. The only exception are a couple of end-cap displays just outside the cold room. Regardless, this outlet is *much* better at handling its beer properly than any of the other LCBOs I have been to.

Sadly, the beer experts that used to work here have moved on to smaller stores in the Sarnia area - but the staff are still friendly and helpful, and whoever does the beer ordering for this place does a very good job. Obviously this store does not have the huge selection of beers that you'll find in certain private stores in Port Huron, or in larger population centers such as London or the GTA... but for a town of 70k people, there is plenty of variety here. I wouldn't say this store is worth going out of your way for, but if you're stuck in town for one reason or another, this is really the only bottle shop worth checking out (other than the brewery's bottle shop).
