This was picked up for me down in Jersey City by a relative a few months ago, as she knew that I'd want to give it a go. Never had this before and thought this was a decent beer, although it wasn't memorable on the palate in any way...
Golden in hue and topped off with plenty of head, the foam never fully settled down as there was a thin, rocky level of suds on top of the liquid throughout my session. Loads of thick suds remained on my pint glass as a majority of it was easily covered in lacing. The aroma and taste were basic with straight citrus, earthy hops, and subtle swamp dankness being present throughout. Each of the three hops ended up being felt but none were strong or stood out above the rest. Didn't taste much of the oats or wheat as they lent themselves to the full body, as this was a balanced beer. Light in carbonation and in perceived alcohol, it was just a tad slick and more cloying in the mouthfeel as there was a light chewiness leftover once I finished this off.
"HAPPY SPRING!" with JERSEY CITY JUICE" below that, and 329 below that, was written on the bottom of the can as the latter appeared to be the date. This was fine to kick back with but a bit too muted for my tastes. Give it a go once and hope that more of the listed stone and tropical fruit will be present, should this ever be canned again...
