Little Brett is both hopped and dry hopped with 100% Mosaic hops and is completely fermented in stainless with our house strain of Brettanomyces yeast. Little Brett is a hazy, straw-colored beer featuring an aroma bursting with pineapple and notes of bread crust. Pineapple continues through the flavor with additional notes of fresh cut grass. A mild tartness in the finish is nicely balanced with a pleasant hop-bitterness.

The beer pours out into a Duvel glass a lightly hazed, golden yellow color with 1/4" of white foam and some arches of lacing that soon recede to a think cover and a ring around the glass. Sipping leves some small patches and legs of lacing on the glass.

The aroma is fairly complex with pineapple and bread crust or cracker and a just a hint of that earthy character the Brett yeast provides.

The flavors are much as expected from the nose. There is pineapple with grassy notes and some hop bitterness along with a wee bit of breadiness. The earthy flavors contributed by the Brett fermentation are in here but rather than dominate they stay quietly in the background.

The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium bodied and slightly prickly from the light, persistent carbonation. The medium length finish is on the long side, beginning fairly early as the the pineapple and the cracker begin to move off stage allowing the light funky flavors and tartness to show some before everything fades to a nice dry finish.

I like this beer, would be happy to have another and will be looking to get some more before it goes out of stock. It's a well made beer that lets the Brett character show slightly and the touch of tartness doesn't overwhem the taste buds.

Hazy, golden color. The aroma of citrus, barnyard, and wheat. Refreshing, funky taste with light tartness and dry, hoppy finish.

Bottled 5/18. Almost a year old. Smell and taste on point. Look and feel a little thin. I’d be curious to try it fresh. Still very enjoyable. Purchased as a single. Would be interested in getting a 4 pack for a warm afternoon

Bottled 4/28/16; drank 5/28/16 @ the Yarchives.

Cloudy pale yellow appearance; champagne bubbles throughout.

A rough pour yielded a small bright white head; nice lace.

Lemon, banana & cane sugar notes in the nose.

Medium thin mouthfeel.

Lemon, dry tea leaves & faint banana flavors up front; faint cane sugar notes on the finish.

An effervescent session brew that served me well on a hot spring night. Nice!

12oz bottle into Tulip
Bottled on 5/22/18
Pours light gold with thin white head, slight chill haze
Pineapple, funk, berries
Cereal grainy up front, followed by tart lemon, with a big funky finish
The feel is disappointing, very light and watery
Overall this beer is like a steps downward, amazing aroma, decent taste, and subpar feel which affects the overall experience

Pours a clear yellow with fine, frothy head.

Smell is fruity with a bit of bretty pepper to it. Notes of peach, citrus and a hint of spice.

Taste is fruity and almost a little bit tart as it hits the tongue. Notes of peach, citrus, rye and brett come and go, along with a soft, delicate bitterness and a long, slightly spicy finish. Very refreshing and greatly balanced.

Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.

Overall, I really liked this. Refreshing and light, but with plenty of layers. Would gladly have this again.

This beer smells and tastes partially like what I call "Christmas tree" beers, essentially IPAs or PAs, like sea hag or little sumpin', but in a very light way, which I like.

However, the other half of the smell and taste is feces. It tastes like shit. I don't mean that to say it's bad, I mean actual shit. Every time I smell and taste it there is a faint hint of actual shit. I'm sorry, I have to stop drinking this because of that. But at the same time, I can almost not stop going back for a sip. Perhaps its like licking a woman's butthole in that sense. Something I've tried, but will pass on in the future.
