On tap at Vermont Tap House.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a fairly ruddy brown to purple color with a sly transparency about it. Not much head but that slid off fairly quick and didn't leave any lace, no harm no foul since it was a bar pour.
The aroma blended sweet to tart cherries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries ranging in all of those sweet, tart and semi-sour tones very well. Slight wheat touches down in the backbone.
The flavor pushed out all of the wheat and brought forth strong colorings of those prior mentioned fruits. Barely any aftertaste but what was there were small remnants of those fruits in super toned down sweet characters.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Some sour to tart harshness squashes me from being able to gulp this. Good carbonation. Sour to tart fruity finish and kiss of stickiness.
Overall, it's a wild ale and a ton of fruits in it. Well worthy of having again and made for an awesome Summer's night's dessert.

In a tulip at the brewery
A: Dark orange, hints of red/brown, thin head
S: Mixed berries especially raspberry, a touch of vinegar and wheat
T: Matches the nose; tart, packed with flavor but a short finish
M: Light, tart
O: Tasty, if the berries were a bit more distinct and the finish a bit longer this would go from very good to outstanding
