The Stranger & The Crane

A crane delivered the recipe. A saison with dark malt and cranberries. We brewed it, compelled by the bird’s watchful eye. It had depth, remarkable: subtly fruit-forward Belgian esters and a hint of tartness, floating on a bed of roasty malt. The bird departed before the stranger appeared. Tasted it. Left. That stranger is long gone, but the beer remains.
