Poured from a 16 oz can into a chalice.
Pours a hazy golden straw color with a finger of white head. The head settles quickly into a thin halo, leaving minimal lacing along the way.
The aroma is rather faint, bringing notes of mangoes, pineapple and Belgian yeast with some light hay and funk in the back.
The flavor brings notes of fresh mangoes, dark raspberries, Belgian yeast and grass with a subtly spicy finish. There's a very faint, nutty flavor throughout.
The feel is medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Pretty smooth and creamy and solidly drinkable. Not quite what is expected from the style.
Overall, this is a pretty good saison that is faintly tart and drinkable. Not a ton of flavor or aroma here, but it's still solid.
