Enjoy our take on a classic pilsner. Brewed for both depth and drinkability, this lager makes use of New England-grown malt for its signature balance and refreshment.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden straw color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades over a moderate amount of time, leaving a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a grain and corn smell mixed with notes of earth and some light hay and grass.
Taste – The taste begins with a grain and light bready taste mixed with notes of a caramel and corn sweetness. Along with these are some flavors of yeast and a bit of earthiness. As the taste advances the sweet and hop increase a bit all while the graininess fades a tad. At the very end, a notes of grass and hay joins in, leaving one with an easy natured taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is medium in thickness with a more moderate carbonation level.
Overall – A pretty decent lager overall. A decent hit of earth and smooth lager taste.

L: Clear straw-yellow with subtle sediment. Large white soapy head. Good retention and lacing.

S: Sweet cracker malt, spent grains, corn, grass and herbal hops.

T: Sweet cracker malt, spent grain crackers, lemon and honey, corn, grassy and mildly herbal and floral hop presence. Slight sweetness upfront, mild hops on the back end, clean finish.

T: Medium-light, bubbly, light but not watery, a nice body while being crushable.

O: Top-notch adjunct/pale lager/pilsner. I love it. I'd drink this all the time. I highly recommend it!

This is your basic craft lager, nothing remarkable but well made and flavorful. They claim it's pilsner-like but I guess I just figured it was a standard light lager. Definitely good on a summer day though. Allagash has proven to make good beers of various styles and this is another example of that.

12oz can dated 2/5/26.

Pours crystal clear yellow with an half-inch head of white. Moderate retention and lacing. Cooked corn, toasted biscuits, buttered popcorn in the nose. Light bodied with a thin, watery mouthfeel.
Crackery grains on the palate with zero hops and a drying bitterness.
Finishes limp with lingering cracked corn.

Pour a lovely yellow hazy color with a large cream colored head. Slightly hazy appearance. Notes of lemon, citrus, grass and toasted grain. Generously hopped without being overly bitter. Absolutely fantastic lager/pilsner.

Hearty and pilsner-like. Biscuity and kinda herbal, with a little bit of a lemon twang but not too much. Solidly bitter for what it is. Maine's got two good things going for it, the scenery and the beer.

16oz Draught at ‘The Allagash Bungalow’ on 10-22-25.
1 finger white head with great retention and full lacing left behind.
Glowing golden body with excellent clarity and active carbonation streaming topside due to a nucleated glass.
Grain, cereal, honey, sulfur, hay in the aroma.
Nice combo of malt sweetness and hop spiciness in the flavor. Solid.
Light-plus body with medium-plus carbonation. Finish starts with a malty sweetness followed by grassy hops and ultimately a just slightly off-dry finish.
Very Good.

I've never seen this before around my area. Usually we carry the triple the dubbel And the white but excited to see this lager. Pours a rather hazy yellow with a good inch full of foam. Smell is mild grassy and semi-sweet. Wow! This is really good. It almost has a sort of lemony taste to it. Very smooth. Very crisp with cereal, grains and grassy hops. Body is amazing. Light refreshing. Wow! I could get behind this easily finishing a six pack. One of the most surprising beers I've had in a while definitely top tier lager! Fully recommended!
