Pours a beautiful slightly hazy maroon color with a nice white head. Moderate carbonation. Notes of blueberries, wheat, light florals and earthy undertones. Pleasantly surprised by the tartness. A fantastic offering from Allagash. Glad they are distributing this outside of the brewery this year.

Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is dark gold, not clear, head is off white with fine frothy bubbles and presents one finger thick, head lingers well.
Smell is clean with light malt, subtle blueberry, some hops.
Taste similar with forward malt flavor but light and subtle, then hint of blueberry, finishes with more malt, light sour note, subtler earthy hop flavor.
Mouthfeel is light carbonation, light/moderate sweetness, subtle bitterness and notably not sour but still provides a blueberry flavor.
Overall such an interesting brew as it provides subtle maltiness with light blueberry - doesnt try to overpower with blueberry sweetness and is not out of balance with too much maltiness.
