10oz. pour served in a small Allagash Chalice at the Armsby Abbey (the first beer of my 39th birthday). Pours a dull amber/cinnamon hue with a semi-hazy clarity. The half inch, creamy, bright white head gradually settles into a solid quarter inch skim. Textured bands of lacing are revealed during the tasting. Nose is fairly subdued - light, grassy and just a hint of spice. Taste consistent with nose with the addition of mint, clover, coriander and a faint citrus character. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with a lively carbonation and a semi-dry finish. Overall, a fairly drinkable albeit clean Saison. I really don't get much of a honey presence in the nose or flavor profile. A decent beer that did not really meet my expectations, especially at $8 for a 10oz. pour.
