Enjoyed in Hot Springs, AR, AT the brewery! 11/2/25
Just got a taster, but it's nice! Aroma is surprisingly sweet. Taste starts sweet, slight banana, and ends sharply bitter. Pretty nice mouthfeel, very soft.

on draft at the brewery, in shaker pint glass
medium golden in color, white head. Nice WC style IPA. Classic c hop flavor, strong bitterness. Hit the spot, appropriate beer after riding the Northwoods mountain bike trails this morning.

Had some relatively high expectations for this, and I was left confused a bit... Incredibly (English yeast) estery for an IPA. The piney, herbal hops couldn't quite cut through the fruity overtones. Wondering to what extent any grapefruity hop notes were buried behind the almost rosee-vinous esters... Looked fine enough. Clear, med-dark amber liquid. Clean, crisp, relatively light-bodied... Overall, this tastes like some throwback recipe from a bygone, nascent craft beer era. There were some bland beers among their offerings, but this one just stood out for the wrong reasons. Approach this like an ESB or English Pale Ale, and you may have a different perspective. (2370)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
