Medium-bodied, spicy-hot, with a touch of sweetness. Made with fresh jalapenos.

(4 oz flight pour at the brewery, drinking right now)

BA has it listed as an APA. A reviewer referred to it as a 'spicy IPA'. At its base, I guess it's the former, but definitely not the latter. They call it a 'jalapeno ale' on the menu... The expression of jalapeno flavor is pretty remarkable in that, it's a few steps from the precipice o'er inferno, making it mad drinkable... Some subtle notable malt and hop foundation, kind of biscuity.... The jalapeno is clearly the showcase flavor. Not shy about it... They do have some dirty diamonds in the rough here (2368)

Clear gold with a short white head quickly dispersing to a rounded creamy collar.

This tastes uncannily like straight up Tostito's spicy queso dip, even with that yellow Velveeta cheese type of flavor, which is the weirdest part. It's got a vegetal sting, and even a little toasty chip action.

The medium body is fairly fluffy and finishes semi-dry, bringing up a slight burn in the swallow.

This is just odd all around, and I normally don't mind a spicy IPA.
