quite possibly me favorite beer from this new and quality operation in the five points area. its not overly fruited like so many others, but rather just suggests the apricot. its nice to have that summer sweet touch to balance off some of the hot lactic acidity you get all the way through this one. i like the light wheat body, really almost delicate if you scale the acid back a step. citrusy and tangy in the nose and the taste, with the apricot seeming true to its real form, but subtle too. it really adds a layer of depth to this, and has me interested in much more than one glass. it seems everyone can make a berliner these days, sour mashing and kettle souring isnt all that hard, but not everyone is doing it well, especially locally here, so its nice to see a well executed example of it. itd be cool to see a series of these where they introduce different seasonal fruits to the same base beer. all of their beers were way ahead of the curve, but i think this was my favorite from them so far.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
