tasty but weird. this reminds me of hotel lobby water, where you see the thin slices of unpeeled cucumber in a help your self container. it has that high mineral and watery vegetable aroma and flavor, real pure and true to the cucumber itself, but also pretty strongly flavored, almost too much in such a light base beer as this, where honestly the wheat malt is almost flavorless. the cool part is the salt, this is definitely a briney experience, almost more salty than sour, which is uncommon in the style. overall though the beer is impossibly light, even with the strong cucumber flavor and fluffy texture, this is a summers dream really. the high mineral thing is neat, the acidity is just right, slight lemon in here from the lacto, and better carbonation than so many small brewery front end sours ever seem to have. these guys are way ahead of the curve, and its great to see them continuing to experiment like this. never had a spangalang beer i didnt really like. with all the cucumber beers out there now, this one is near the top of the list for me.

There are, oddly, many cucumber goses. This is the best I've tried, thanks (I assume) to the cucumber water from the Real Deal pickle company. Well balanced with a clean cuke and salt taste love it.

Amazing. Honestly, the best cucumber related beer I've had. Sweet/earthy aroma, amazingly full taste with am very subtle hints of salt as if dusted on a slice of cucumber in the summer. The feel is certainly not over the top and is smooth at every point. I know cucumber isn't for everyone, but if you do like them, this beer is off the charts...
