a tart berliner type brewed with rose hips and hibiscus. something a little different from these guys, a pleasant beer, lots going right for it. the sourness for one is super minimal, its tangy at most, less acid than a lemon, really clean, and helping this finish quick and refreshing, they have this aspect dialed in. the rose hips and hibiscus can run a little perfumy at times, so its nice to see those restrained a little bit here, both equal contributors, but adding a springy floral and even tea-like property to the beer without making it too intense, it stays delicate even though its rather distinct, which is hard to do. there is a lot of nuance here too, soft white wheat, cut flowers, orange, and white wine, it all comes together really well on the palate. i wish it had more carbonation though, this is so light and summer in terms of flavors and textures, it really should sing with bubbles, but while it isnt flat, its well short of where i find myself wanting it to be. i reckon throw this one in a wine barrel with some brett and see what happens!
