Had this as one of the guest taps at Comrade Brewing I think in June 2019.
Notes indicate it is a tropical fruit grenadine kettle sour? Pours amber color, thin 1/5" white head. Aroma of passion fruit, light sour/tart notes. Didn't pick up anything in the way of wood or funk, so I'm thinking this is a kettle fruit sour beer.
Taste was enjoyable for what it was. Just a light, sweet, tart version of a Hurricane mixed drink essentially. Mouthfeel could have used a bit more beercentric stuff, the sweetness got to me a little bit downward in the drink, but still, I enjoyed it, was a nice change of pace at that location, I think it was the only wild/sour beer I had there. I'd check it out again, and it would totally fit in the variety cooler I bring down to the river or softball games, sometimes when I wanna mix it up, sure man, pilsner, pale ale, ipa, kettle sour, dipa why not.
If you don't like the mixed drink Hurricane, I dunno if I would recommend this to you though.
