I'm a chess player, and there's a group that meets at this brewery to play, so of course they brewed this beer as a shoutout to the group. It's not your typical wheat beer at all. I was surprised when the tulip glass was handed to me with clear beer in it, as most wheat beers around here are unfiltered. The bartender told me it wasn't filtered, but the super-secret process made it come out clear. Works for me. Plenty of the traditional clove and banana dominates the flavor profile. So come out and play some chess and enjoy this beer!
