This one was made in similar fashion to the Mojito version, except with pineapple. So the base kolsch was acidified, and pineapple was added. Now I like the Mojito a lot, but this one actually tasted way different, and not just because the adjuncts were different. It was actually less sour-tasting to me, which is weird. The only explanation I can think of is the pineapple actually lent more sweetness to the brew, which didn't happen with the lime in the other one. It was still potentially good, just maybe needs some tweaking. Where the Mojito came off more like a Berliner, this came off more like a basic fruit beer.
