Yogurt in beer. You read that right. A big ole dollop of yogurt in this one adds a velvety, fluffy mouthfeel and the pop of raspberries adds a punch of sweet, tart fruit.

Poured from a can into a pint glass

Appearance – The beer pours a hazed pinking-red color with a small head of white foam. The head fades very fast leaving a tinny bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma of the brew is very strong of a raspberry smell mixed with a little bit of a cracker malt. Along with these aromas comes a little bit of a vanilla smell and a touch of milkiness. Along with these smells comes a little bit of a funky smell as well as a touch of hay.

Taste – The taste begins with a sweet raspberry flavor mixed with some other tastes of light bready tastes. Other light flavors of hay and strawberry are there as well, producing a mainly fruity flavor overall. While no “yogurt” like tastes are present upfront, some light vanilla and crème tastes come at the very end. These creamier tastes are very light in comparison to the fruit with the overall taste that is left on the tongue being a strong fruity raspberry and strawberry flavor.

Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the slightly lighter side with a carbonation level that is rather high. For the sweet berry flavors of the brew, the feel is good and makes for a more refreshing drink overall.

Overall – A little too sweet berry for me, but fun to try none the less.

12oz canned 5-26-20, opened 7-11-20.
1" pink/white tinted head, large bubbles that sizzle away quickly and leave no head or lace behind.
Pink, grapefruit flesh color. Opaque and almost looks like a Bloody Mary at a glance. No lacing.
Raspberry aroma with a hint of lactic character.
Dull berry, tart fruit and a wheaty malt finish.
Full body, low to medium carbonation. Some zingy acidity in a short and mostly dry finish.
Okay to Good.

Pours a turbid peach/pink color with fast falling beige colored head. Zero head retention & lacing

S: Berries, some grassiness once warm

T: A little sweet raspberry & marionberry, with a little tart on the edges up front. Strawberry, sweet raspberry & dryness as this warms. Finishes sweet, dry with little lime & grassyness

MF: Medium body & minimal carbonation

Easy drinker, with some nice fruittyness, this will disappear quickly here with this warm weather
