Type: 12-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England IPA
Glass: Dallas Cowboys tumbler glass
Price: $13.99 for a 6-pack
From: Goody Goody Liquor in The Colony, Texas
Purchased: Dec. 17, 2021
Consumed: Dec. 18, 2021
Misc.: Canned on Nov. 30. 2021
Grabbed a 6-pack of this and two others on a work trip in the Frisco area. Had one of these the night before, giving it a 4 on Untappd and writing “Really good. Would guess 4.10ish.” Untappd description was “Double Dry Hopped IPA with Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, Cryo Citra & Cryo Mosaic.”
Poured a light golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of rocky-to-white frothy head. Could see plenty of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled pretty good initially. Got passion fruit, Fruity Pebbles, tropical fruit punch, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, citrus zest and orange creamsicle. For mentioned hops. Galaxy led the way, followed by Citra, Nelson and lesser Mosaic. Not as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted almost as good as the nose but not quite. In order got passion fruit, Fruity Pebbles, tangerine, Nelson, Citra, grapefruit, lemon, citrus zest, orange creamicle, Mosaic, hints of Juicy Fruit and dry grass. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Really liked this one. Glad I picked up a 6-pack. (Overall - 4.25)

12 fl oz pull-tab can:
One of the better IPAs I've tried during my time living in Texas, and one that I reckon could hold its own against most of those brewed in Colorado, California, and Oregon. Balanced with a pleasant hop profile, though it doesn't quite nail the Citra & Mosaic harmony like the best IPAs brewed with those hops tend to.
Up there with Lone Pint's Yellow Rose in terms of standout Texan IPAs.

12oz can from Tavour. Hazy straw colored pour, thick, fluffy head. Aroma is melon, fruity. More melon in the taste, light tropical notes and a nice bitterness that rises up in the middle. Nice mouthfeel too, creamy.

Hazy goldenrod, poured from a can into a plastic cup, minimal head and lacing. Strong, vibrant smell of citrus, pineapple. Medium carbonation, overall great.

Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a very hazy orange juice color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head has a great level of retention, with it slowly fading over time to leave a tiny bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is very sweet of tropical fruits of mango, papaya, and tangerine, with these aromas matched with a big bready and doughy smell. Along with these smells comes notes of yeast and a moderately strong showing of an herbal and grapefruit hop.
Taste - The taste begins with a thick bready flavor that has strong notes of tangerine, mango, and pineapple. Right from the start there is a grapefruit hop flavor as well as tastes of yeast and grass as well. As the taste advances the grapefruit, sweet and bready remain strong, all while the yeast and grass fade a bit. At the same time herbal hop and some lemon and grain comes to the tongue. This mix of flavors takes the taste to the end, leaving one with a moderately thick and bready, but nicely hopped and sweetened, balanced NEIPA taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is chewy with a carbonation level that is rather moderate. For the bready body and the NEIPA style, the feel is good and makes for a good media for all the rich tastes to be well appreciated.
Overall – A rather nice hazy IPA. Big in flavor, but easy in drinking.

Decent dull hazy golden with a thin white head. Peachy pineapple and even slightly wine like with something grassy in there too. Not really fruit prominent on the flavor but with some sweetness and yet gentle with little bitterness. More melon and guava than anything. Medium thin with not a lot of carbonation, this beer is pretty decent, nothing bad nothing really stands out.
