Poured from a growler 24 hours after it was filled.
L: Clear yellow, golden color with lots of big soapy bubbles and nice head retention. Lots of bubbles sticking to the glass.
S: Nice fruity aroma (Grapefruit, orange, lemon) with melon and some pepper notes in the background.
T: Very hop forward Saison. Upfront you get lots of melon, mostly honeydew, followed by grapefruit and orange. Following this is some bitterness and candied fruit in the finish. Don't get many saison notes in the beer and the intense hop profile could make the beer pass for a pale ale or IPA.
F: Light to medium body. Very crisp and easy to drink.
Overall, this reminds me more of an APA or IPA than a Saison, so if your looking for a typical Saison you may want to look elsewhere. That said, it is a very nice hoppy beer which would be a regular in my rotation if possible. If this was an APA I would probably give it a slightly higher rating but seeing as the Saison notes are lost due to the hops I bumped it down a little.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
