On tap, pours a really nice looking, hazy glowing orange with a dense finger of white foam. Smell is subtle citrus mostly, with oranges standing out. Taste is more like a really clean, elegant IPA than a lager, but there is just a trace of crackery lager crispness. Feel is a bit more full than the typical lager. Mild bitterness.
Overall this is a fine beer that's super drinkable and enjoyable. I never would have known it was the same bill as From the Top with a lager yeast, because it's a completely different beer.

Very bitter but not as tropical or delicious as most of their IPAs. I couldn't really sense any lager yeast or other traditional elements. Maybe that's a good thing? I definitely enjoyed it better than most lagers. Reminiscent of Little Sumpin Sumpin.

From the growler, it pours a hazy golden amber with a nice head. Citrus is evident in the nose. Hops are evident on the tongue, along with the solid malt background. Enjoyable. This was sold as an "IPL" - India Pale Lager! Nice idea!

On tap at the source. Pours hazy yellow, with a sturdy white head. The Hüll Melon and Hallertau Blanc hops deliver aromas of melons, grapes, and gooseberry. Resiny stickiness slowly fades to a honeydew melon dryness.
