Look-Pours a remarkable yellow golden color with a thick yeast haze. The head is a rich creamy white with a fluffy foam consistency. The lacing is persistent and clingy.
Smell-It smells of banana and fruit esters as well as yeast and bready malts.
Taste-The flavor follows the nose, but I get a more astringent malt base and more pronounced yeast components. I also pick up on vanilla and banana bread as well as bread pudding. The sweetness is relatively mild and is tempered by the yeast and alcohol content. It is on the heavy side of light-bodied and is well-balanced. It has a buttered-bread almost oily coating on the tongue after each sip which begs you to take another refreshing gulp.
Overall-I’d say that this is a staple-mark Tripel with all the standard components. It isn’t world-class like Ommegang, but is definitely delicious and worth at least one try. Cheers!

Pours a straw color with a half-inch white head. Smell is Belgian spicy yeast, cloves, with a little musty funk. Taste is par for the style. Feel is crisp and lively. Overall a solid beer, glad I found it on tap.

32oz fill, poured into a Russian River -tion glass. The look was on point, straw colored, med-low head with good retention. Smell was spicy, with some crisp hop notes. Taste hit the pretty standard saison points. Belgian yeast, clove, spice. Feel was nice, maybe a hint of alcohol heat as it warmed. Overall it is a pretty good representation of a style I dont particularly go for. (HF Arthur is my high water mark for that, so its a big hill to climb)
