Nice, balanced ESB. Great flavor, good amount of hop, reminiscent of a marzen in that it drinks really nice with the fall weather. The low ABV made it easy to bang out the growler in one night and not get toasted.

On tap at brewer:
Pours with apparent clarity but a brown color that disrupts a bit of light from getting through. It almost looks like a strong tea. Head was almost missing from my pour, but the smattering there was lasted the whole pour, and there was even a little lacing.
Nose is dark bread, grain, and a little tea leave. There's also a light fruit note, almost like a peach tea when mixed with the other notes.
Similar to the nose, dark bread with a peach tea aspect. There is a nice balance bitter note as well, one ta comes across with light notes of grapefruit and pine - wonder if they went American hops with this English style. There is a bit of a nutty note early in my sips, and then again near the back of the taste as it warms.
My initial thoughts are that this seemed like a slightly more bitter brown ale. Considering its color, it sorta is. It's fairly light but has a medium strength of flavor, making it enjoyable as a light, flavorful, bitter yet balanced beer. Pretty nice!

Clear deep brown color. Looks really good. Deep.
Nice woody and smoke malt note. Light caramel smell. Floral hop note. Main Is Light roastes malt. Light bread note.
Taste is a bit more bitter. Mix of floral notes with smoke wood malt. Light nuttiness and a tiny bit of caramel.
Feel is fantastic. Light body. Tingling carbonation. Smooth.
Go for it.
