This was a crisp and clean saison. The scent and taste had a good balance of mineral and citrus zest character. Overall solid brew, but nothing special.

On tap at brewery:
Pours like a watered down red wine, a matte light ruby/burgundy. Thin rose-tinged collar doesn't provide any lacing.
Nose on this brett saison is nice, the cherries coming through a more earthy barn wood funk. Not too tart, but a nice enticing cherry forward nose.
The taste hits with a little cherry and a bit of funk, but the cherry tends to overpower the brett here. This is unfortunate that they both fight for the beginning of the taste, because it leaves a little void in the back. A light black cherry and a bit of a dry farmhouse taste are there, but feel a tad watered down. A light tartness at the end provides a little wake up.
As stated, I wish the brett and cherries played together better or in different parts of the taste. Warmth helped, but a watery feel affected my enjoyment more than I'd wanted.
