Strong tasting blonde ale. Looks are the best thing going for it.

a pleasing pint, summery and honey forward with just enough malt to it to have some flavor and texture and not be unbalanced. its simple beer, but you can taste the honey for sure, and its something way more flavorful and interesting than the conventional american blonde, so i credit it for that. i have not loved all the beers ive had from these guys, but this one hits, sweet in the right places, no real hops to it, and no fermentation profile either, this is super clean, on the dry side, and fast enough finishing to be refreshing. floral honey, dry crackers, a bit of a baked character, and something leaning slightly english to me. this is cool because the honey is appreciable, the session factor is real high, and the refinement seems a cut above where these guys have come in at in the past. one of those beers you dont really think much about and then your glass is empty. this might be the best i have had from these guys, and an all season blonde with plenty of flavor. definitely one to order by the pitcher...

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a good level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a nice level foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the beer is a nice mix of a grainy smell that has a good hit of a honey aroma mixed within. Along with these smells comes some lighter notes of a floral nature and a hint of caramel.
Taste – The taste begins with a grainy and bready taste with some sweetness of a honey and caramel nature. As the taste moves forward some flavors of a light grassy nature and a little bit of harvest fruit comes to the tongue. All the while the honey and bread fades a little bit while the grainy gets more pronounced. With a little bit of a herbal and floral hop joining the grassy tastes, one is left with a rather grainy malt, very lightly hopped, and lightly sweet taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is average with a carbonation level that is slightly higher. For the mix of bready, grainy, and sweeter tastes the feel is rather nice and makes for an easy sipping but still robust enough body to where all the more subtle flavors and be appreciated.
Overall – A rather nice beer overall. It won’t blow you out of the water, but it is easy drinking and still rather flavorful.
