Poured from growler into pint glass in September 2019. The growler was filled only 1 week earlier.
Appearance: Medium gold color with big 3-finger white head. As with other American IPAs, it is hazy. Head is thick with fine bubbles that last a few minutes, and there is a lot of lacing.
Smell: Strong aroma of pine and bitterness, as well as some sweetness like citrus. There is some pineapple aromas as well. Overall the citrus and hop aromas dominate the other aromas.
Taste: Very good taste. There is a typical hops and citrus flavor but with some sweetness as well. This is not as bitter as some other IPAs, but it not sweet. It has a nice after taste. Overall a nice balance and very drinkable.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied. Medium alcohol which matches the 7.5% listed.
This is a very good American IPA. It has a nice mix of citrus, hops, and other flavors, which makes it interesting. I like the overall balance, and that the citrus flavors are pronounced but do not dominate the flavor. I would buy this again.

Dark cloudy yellow in appearance..smell is a slightly muted citrus ..citrus pops a bit more in the taste and there is some pine in there as well..medium carbination and the feel is right where it should be for this type of beer, not too heavy..smooth..my first Levante beer..soild!

Very solid Citra IPA all across the board: presents well, nice fruity aroma with a flavor that matches.
Finishes on the dry side and a damn good representation of the Citra hop. Highly recommend.
