Poured from a 16oz can into pint glass in May 2023. I bought the can at their West Chester brewpub, and drank within 1 month of purchase. There was no label on the bottom of the can.
Appearance: Dark black with dark tan/brown head. The head is about 2-fingers thick with thick bubbles, lasts for a minute, and ended with a little head. There is more lacing sticking to the glass than with other stouts.
Smell: Strong aroma of alcohol and coffee. Also, some vanilla roasted malt and a hint of chocolate. Overall, the coffee and alcohol dominate the others.
Taste: There is a nice balance between the sweetness and the coffee. Also some roasted malts, chocolate, and vanilla flavors. There is a little hop bitterness to add to the taste and add some complexity. There is a strong alcohol presence, as with other Imperial Stouts, which matches the 10.7% on the label. Great aftertaste, which is also dominated by the chocolate and coffee.
Mouth-feel: Thick, but with an extremely smooth and creamy body. The high alcohol is well-balanced and not overpowering.
This is a good imperial stout, and it has a variety of flavors that adds an impressive complexity to the beer. Although this is a big beer, it is smooth and very enjoyable to drink. The smoothness adds to the overall enjoyment. I bought a second can, and will buy more when available. This is my 6th beer from Levante Brewing, and so far my favorite.

Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is black, tan head presents 1/2 inch thick and dissipates to a solid top, spotty lacing on glass sides.
Smell is roast, chocolate, sweeter malt, lactose like sweetness, coffee with a moderate roast, hint of booze as it warms.
Taste is chocolate malt, roast, light sweet malt, lactose, coffee with moderate roast, low perceived bitterness and hop flavor.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate/strong sweetness, low/moderate bitterness for the strength.
Overall a sweeter coffee stout for sure, lingering flavor is sweeter and chocolate malt, with coffee notes more subdued.

Draught 12oz snifter at WetCity in Baltimore. A solid coffee stout. Not sure I noticed the barrel aging - perhaps even smoother than most stouts? Acholol well hidden - which could be a problem.
