Levante Brewing Co. "Urbino"
on tap at the brewery on 24 February 2017
$6 / 14 oz.
Notes: Aged on 700 lbs. of Balaton cherries. Clear deep ruby body beneath a white head with a pinkish tinge to it. Aroma of cherry pits, wet wood, and very light smoke. The flavor is quite tart, sour even. The cherry is interesting. It's not what you might normally expect. Dry finish with some mineral character. Light bodied with a delicate, fine-bubbled, gently effervescent carbonation. Interesting, unique, and enjoyable.
