You hold in your hand a liquid plane ticket to Florida... a creamy-sweet wintertime escape. 5 hop varieties - including Jarrylo which is known for banana notes - create a distinct layer of citrus juiciness, finished with pineapple and banana purees blended in. Tropical Whip tastes like the color of the wind. *Contains lactose, pineapple, banana, vanilla*

Gifted, certainly not chosen, the contents of a pint can have been emptied into a clear glass liter mug. The annoying stark white foam quickly appears. Should all modern brews look like cotten candy on top? Same old song, the foam recedes unevenly and unattractively, leaving irregular glass lacing. The brew is apricot-amber in color and it's opaque. For what is expected to be a fruity desert beer, this has a sharp piney aroma and it's pronounced. A plus for the overall, but for
what it alleges to be, we'll see. This time, the nose knows. Amazingly, this includes banana, pineapple and vanilla notes, but it still has a great bitter hoppy finish. There are now many AIPAs that attempt to taste fruity. Some even include fruit in the wort. This does, whilst few carry it off this well. That doesn't make this a great brew, but it is one of the best for what it brings. It's not a fruit salad IPA. Although it does have some of the muddling stickiness of a milkshake beer, there are far worse. The dry hop bite at the finish redeems many of its shortcomings. Maybe this is a great fruited milkshake beer, let the experts that care decide, but this may not work for everyone.

Pours an cloudy orange-amber. Nose and palate are dominated by vanilla notes, almost overwhelming and chemical-tasting. For me, it detracts from an otherwise good NE IPA.
