From draft at Levante. From the tap list: “Barrel Ground (w/ Barrel Aged Coffee Beans) Stout - Coffee
10.7% ABV 65 IBU. This Imperial stout was creatively imagined with our neighbors and friends at Burlap and Bean in Media, PA. Together, we barrel aged green coffee beans in Dad's Hat whiskey barrels, and then roasted the beans at Burlap and Bean. We hope you experience a full-bodied brew, thick with treacle malt sweetness, while still possessing the subtle delicacy of a hand-pressed cup of local coffee: robust, sherryesque, with a pinch of rich vanilla notes.” Lots of great flavor, though some heat from the high abv. Nice effort.
