I bought this at least two years ago. It was a powerhouse imperial stout when it came out and I thought a little “cellaring “ would mellow it. It has. This is a “big” imperial pastry stout at 13.1 abv! It pours an absolutely jet black. Relatively tame nose for the ingredients. Taste is a molasses brown sugar up front with a sweet, roasted aftertaste. A very good imperial pastry stout!

Pours dark brown. 2 finger tan head. The head retention is damn good for such a high ABV beer. Some lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
The nose is actually quite mild and minimal. I just get a faint malt hint. Not much else.
Taste - Ok, now this is good. Nice creamy lactose flavor. Some chocolate notes. Some vanilla mixed in.
Creamy smooth mouthfeel. Some fizz from the carbonation. Not as thick as I was expecting, but full bodied.
I'm digging this milk stout. Damn well made.
