Cloudy dark orange with just shy of two fingers of antique white head. Decent retention and solid sudsy lacing.
Orange, pineapple, a little herbal pepper and a slight marshmallow impression in the nose.
A shocking amount of vanilla and marshmallow up front in the taste. Pretty shocking in comparison to the nose. There’s a middle-of-the-road fruity NEIPA underneath that’s hard to get a read on with all the vanilla — but it does offer some slight bitterness that prevents things from being overly sweet. A little marshmallow lingers into the aftertaste.
Really full, fluffy, creamy feel.
I’d prefer the base beer were better integrated, but the vanilla and marshmallow here really are a big step up from most beers with those additions. The feel is very nice, too.
