Mexican-Style Lager. Inspired to brew a clear classic beer style that's as light and refreshing as it is smooth and complex, our brewers developed a full-flavored Mexican-style lager that adheres to tradition. Filtered yet rich with malt and flaked maize, this crisp lager is ready for the beach ... and might we suggest a lime?

Sampling a 16 oz can poured into my snifter, at fridge temp. date stamp is #1504 15:27. Not sure where my decoder ring is , but that doesnt tell me much!
Beer pours a pretty light straw gold color and rests a clear gold in the glass. A fairly creamy bleached white head of about 2 cm. This foam fades to a sturdy surface covering and leaves dense lattice rings each time I swirl or take a sip from the glass.
Aroma is fairly mild with some grainy malt and a bit of general sweetness. I might get some faint grassy hop here, but overall there isnt much doin here on the nose.
First sip reveals a light body with very fine and tingly carbonation. Texture is smooth to a little thin and this beer drinks easy on the physical traits.
Flavor is some grainy notes and a bit of corn with a little general sweetness and then fades away. Maybe a faint touch of grassy or vegetal hop note. No real lingering flavors and the finish is a little dryer after each sip.
Not an offensive beer in any component, highly drinkable and decent flavor. Not a bad example and would be great poolside etc, etc.

Pours a crystal clear pale yellow with big, frothy white head. Retention is phenomenal with some solid lacing. She be a pretty beer. Smells clean and grainy. I can't really pick out corn specifically, but I suspect that people who say they can are full of shit and just basing their opinion on expectations. It smells pleasant, though, with some faint floral hop notes. Taste follows nose. Sweet grain followed by a mildly bitter, lemon-y bite and a long, lingering malt and bittering hop finish. The mouthfeel, to me, is soft; not as crisp as I'm used to for the style. It's pleasant, though, and an easy Summer evening chugger.

Clear, pale straw with two fingers of dense, near-white head. Great retention and sloppy lacing.

Corn tortilla and a slight hint of sulfur in the nose.

Light, easy drinking flavors that follow the aroma in terms of corn and sulfur, joined by a hint of mint, and followed by some dull bitterness in the relatively crisp finish.

Light bodied with modest carbonation fizz.

Excellent. This is a phenomenal Mexican-style Lager.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is straw, transparent, head is off white with fine to small bubbles, thin lacing and thin head remain.

Smell is clean but light - grainy aroma, adjuncts, corn like note, subtle sweetness.

Taste follows but brighter notes of adjunct and base malt, light sweetness, corn like flavor, hops are clean and neutral with maybe some grass and very light herbal notes.

Mouthfeel is moderate/high carbonation, moderate sweetenss, crisp dry finish, subtle lingering sweetness.

Overall a very good lager, super easy drinking with good balance of barley malt/adjunct aroma and flavor.

I love this beer. It has all of the nostalgic characteristics of Yuengling lager, with the bloaty foam, to the brightness and acidity of a Corona (with lime and salt.) Carefully balanced and playing in harmony. Can't wait until the official drive in movies open (I am under COVID-19 lockdown in PA) so I can pair this with a CAO Mexico cigar under the moonlight for a nice double feature. This would go great with some finer Mexican food.
