A Tavour Treat. Pours a dark brown color with a foamy tan head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of caramel, vanilla and chocolate. Tastes like alcohol chocolate milk. Smooth and creamy.

Current Edition (not sure if canned in '22 or '23). 12% ABV. No peppermint. I'm not making an entry for a new beer.
Crack the can open and I smell Oreo wafers already. MASSIVE head on this thing. Some real spill over the sides of the glass shit. Head gets incredibly airy as it recedes. Gigantic, quickly popping bubbles abound. No real lacing. Not terribly attractive but probably an unavoidable by-product of all the cookies in the mash. Smells real chocolatey and just generally very "add junk" heavy. Don't know that I'm really smelling much base beer. Doesn't smell bad, though. Tastes very "add junk" heavy as well. It's an Oreo cookie stout and that's what it tastes like. Take the wafers and maybe darken them a bit in the oven and that's what you get here. The vanilla and cocoa powder make for good bedfellows as well. They come across almost like how Wendy's Frosties taste. Natural and not artificial, I guess, is what I mean to say. Silky smoove, chewy mouthfeel really shines. Damn; this is a pleasure to sip in that regard. And not bad at all in general. It's incredibly sweet and could use some bittering for balance, but also I read the label and knew what I was getting here. It's exactly as advertised.
Post-Script: My glass is bloody filthy after finishing this. Lotta cookie grit (for lack of a better term) in this one.

A thanks to the incredible woodychandler for this beer. Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of mint chocolate chips. Taste is, as Woody said, thin mint cookies in beer form. Alcohol is present. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a beer worth trying.

My EXTREME thanks to the moderator who TOTALLY got it right! Someone added this one & in the interim (or unbeknownst to them), the brewery produced an unadorned version, making the potential for a buncha CANfusion a real thing. I submitted both an Add & a ChANge request before taking a deep breath to hold, awaiting the outcome, CANticipating a hiccup or an argument, neither of which ocCANurred. Viva The CANQuest (tm)! Never mind. Someone f**ked it up in the interim! Par for the course. So glad that I called attention to it! 8={}

To say that I was CANxious to Crack! open the vent on this one would be a CANplete understatement! If there is one Girl Scout cookie that I look forward to EVERY year, it is the Thin Mint. I already drank & reviewed the unadorned version so now it was time for a (hopefully) liquefied Thin Mint! I employed a slow, gentle C-Line Glug & one of my favorite glasses, CANticipating a positive outcome. I was not disappointed as it evinced both a pseudo-cascade & two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, creamy, Light-to-Deep Brown head with excellent retention. In fact, it overflowed the lip of the glass by a small amount, forcing me to have a lick, rather than letting any go to waste. Holy Mint, Batman! More on that shortly. Color was Very Dark Brown to Black/Opaque (SRM = > 34, < 44) with garnet highlights at the edges. Nose was chocolate & mint & took me back to my early childhood & a box of Hydrox Mint Chocolate cookies that I devoured on the ride home from a visit to PHL. Man, they did NOT hold back on either the mint or the chocolate! 8=O Mouthfeel was medium-to-full, but not as big & creamy as the earlier Original version. The taste was SO minty that I felt as though I were drinking mouthwash! I kid you not, this was spearmint/peppermint on a grand scale, supported by a chocolaty sweetness. It was such an intense rush that my heartbeat sped up! Phew. My inhalation following that first sip was like taking a deep breath in Minneapolis' Wake-Up Room (you have to go outside to smoke & stepping into their Winter air was revelatory). 8=O I realize that this would not be for everyone, but I have always been attracted to the outliers, being one myself. My heart was pumping, my breath was cool & fresh, what was not to like? Finish was cool, dry, minty & I was in love. Now, I gotta get Ruthie to be my Valentine! YMMV.

Pours an impenetrable black in color with a half finger of dense off white-light tan head that leaves behind some nice sporadic lacing. Both the aroma and taste are minty and chocolatey. This is melted (extra chocolatey) mint chip ice cream, liquid Andes candies, Liquid Thin Mints, or some combination of all three. There is a little alcohol heat along side the mint in the finish that reminds you that, while this might be liquid desert, it’s also a 10% stout. This is medium-full in body with a slightly syrupy, sweet note and low-moderate carbonation. For an intensely flavored desert stout I found this pretty drinkable, it didn’t feel like a slog to get through the whole pint can but I’m happy I don’t have to drink another.
