This isn't your old drinkin' buddy's staple pils from 1987. Solarstone is dry-hopped with Mandarina Bavaria, Hüll Melon, and Hallertau Blanc for an easy-drinking beer packed with citrus, gooseberry, and ripe melon notes that will send your senses into the next galaxy. Smooth on the palate with mild hints of white wine, you can't find this anywhere on Earth, let alone in your buddy's beat-up beer fridge.

Poured into a wide mouth, grip shaped goblet: color is straw, nearly transparent, head is brighter white and presents with a frothy top with large bubbles about two fingers deep, nice lacing on the glass sides.

Smell is clean, subdued, light crackers and some earthy, grassy hop notes, maybe some lemon rind.

Taste is crisp and clean pilsner - malt is crackery with light piscuit, hops are grass, earth, and light herbal spice; some light lemon like character comes through from the dry hopping.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, lower/moderate sweetness, lighter bitterness with a chalky, minerally finish.

Overall a clean but light in flavor/aroma pilsner - dry hopping seems to add some citrus character, finish is dry or chalky.

A great DDH hopped Pilsner. Poured into a Ritzenhoff Pilsner glass. Beautiful slightly hazy straw color with a grainy two finger head. Not much in the way of smell. Great crisp Pilsner taste with a touch of citrus juice.
