From Levante's website: Don’t be fooled by those pearly whites, there’s a spicy bite behind that smile. Packed with Centennial, Mosaic, Amarillo, and Citra hops, this Rye IPA hits you with aromas of grapefruit peel and a touch of melon. Take a sip, and bask in the rye that shines through in all its spicy glory while hints of tangerine provide a delicate balance. Stretch out those tiny arms and grab another pint.
Pours with damn near 3 fingers of frothy white head that hangs out forever, never really dissipating and leaving some beautiful, sticky lace. Super pretty beer. Smells like the IPAs I used to adore with tons of bitter citrus (grapefruit and orange). Tastes like those old school jammers too. Bitter grapefruit again leads the clubhouse, but the malt bill really balances things with a pleasant, not overdone sweetness. Pillow-y soft mouthfeel leaves me wondering if they fucked with the water chemistry. Either way, goddamn! This is the best IPA I've had in forever. MOAR!
