on draft, served in shaker pint glass
black in color, with thin tan colored head. decent head retention. aroma and taste is fairly roasty. taste finishes fairly dry. medium bodied.

Tasted on April 2023, from can in a pint glass. The stamp on the bottom of the can was:

Appearance: Nice dark color with good head of about 2 fingers. Head was light color, but did not last too long, especially compared to the head on other Irish Stouts which last for many minutes.
Smell: Mix of hop, caramel sweetness, and earthy aromas.
Taste: Nice malt flavors, very similar to Guinness Extra Stout. Good overall taste.
Mouth feel: Medium body, and silky smooth.
Overall: Good stout. I prefer the additional hop flavors and bitterness of Guinness's Foreign Extra Stout, but this is an enjoyable beer especially for everyday drinking.
