another mediocre beer from glenwood canyon. this one pours a funny pink color, medicinal looking, without much head at all to report. the nose is raspberry jam and light wheat malt in about equal quantities. the fruit smells and tastes artificial, overly sweet, and that tartish element of fresh berries is totally absent. the wheat is tannic, implying some curious sparge method, and the combination with the fruity sugar is overwhelming and off to me. fine bubbles and a really light feel, your wife might like this, but its not for me. it almost feels king of far from a beer, as there are no hops and not much body at all to this. definitely needs some work to be a beer worth drinking. stick to the ipa or the stout when you visit this place, and leave this one in the tank.

ON tap at the brewpub. Pours copper with a long lasting white head and soda-like carbonation. Aroma is of raspberries and caramel and wheat malt. Body is light and smooth. Taste is sweet, mostly raspberries. Short sweet finish. Quite a drinkable brew.

This one poured a very raspberry red and was most notable for its unique smell that hit you with raspberry first then floral, wheat, and spices. I found that while it tasted ok it was a bit watery and very little like beer. It was unique and drinkable but not a beer I would go for on a regular occasion.

Okay. Let me first say that I am not crazy about Raspberries - or fruity beer. But my wife loved it. Minimal head, no lacing, very mild aroma of fruit, then your tongue is introduced to a real raspberry tang! – sour raspberries! Whew! A thin beer with a middle that is way over carbonated, and hits your tongue like club soda. The finish was dry, a little too much. This is no session beer, but if you are accompanied by (or are) a female, go for it!
