16oz draft pour into a can glass shows a clear, dark amber body with virtually no head. Only an edge ring, and an even cover of spotted bubbles, not even a wispy island, more of a dotted top, sans lacing.
Muted aroma is mostly brown sugar and leads to a sweet, flowery flavor. As noted below, more of a marzen than a bitter, but drinkable.
Clean feel, lightly carbonated, and no remainder.
Overall on okay beverage, that seems to fall short of the style.

I have had this beer twice several months apart and both times it smells yeasty and the nutty/breadlines carries that over into the initial taste, tough it dissipates if the beer is left to breathe. Mouthfeel is higher (harder) on carbonation than I would like, and it tastes more like what I expect from a German Oktoberfest than an English bitter.
