Fuzzy Perzik-Dutch for Peach-is Fortside's latest barrel aged sour offering, and was crafted in honor and appreciation of the classic Flanders-style beers-showcasing mixed culture fermentation, extended barrel aging, and complex blending schedules to get just the right balance and intensity in the finished product. While not actually containing peaches, Fuzzy Perzik leaps from the glass with intense bright and tart fruitiness-reminiscent of our most beloved stone fruit, along with oaky tannins and a velvety vanillin character which serves to temper the bracing tartness. Sit back, relax, and let the fuzz be your guide on this oh-so-satisfying flavor journey.

This Beer is very complex in flavor. It has the tannins and vanillas from barrel-aging and also not real sour from the aging process. I wasn't sure at first, but more I sipped it, the more I liked it. Never tasted anything quite like it and they told me they had just won a silver medal for this beer. I don't know what event it was at, but a silver isn't bad. Rated 6-27-2023
