draught
Very enticing and everlasting , thick and creamy blonde head. Halfway between translucent and hazy, deep wildflower honey appearance a.k.a. deep orange amber. Light, spiced honey and medium heavy toasted barley malt aroma. A fairly balanced malt to hop ratio, due to the extra malt, to see-saw with the bold dosing of hops, though the hops endure to the end. The flavor is under the hop bite and is a mixture of bold citrus peel and a spiced note.

Schooner at the brewery.
Pours murky dark amber with small head and small carbonation. Smell is pale ale -- straw and grassy hops.
Taste is bitter, malty. Biscuit and old hay. Hints of something bright in the background.
Mouthfeel is thick and resinous. Overall, it reminds me of a lot of over-bittered, under-nuanced IPAs I've had. Not bad, but just ok.
