I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a weizen glass.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a dash of haze, a strong effervescence, and a finger of creamy ivory foam leaving a nice lace on the glass. Pretty!
Smell: yeasty, kinda “beer-ey” aroma with a sweetish malt character. Not too bad.
Taste: a little bit on the sweet side, but with a good malty flavor and a somewhat high bitterness for the style.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a decent carbonation and a nice creaminess for the style.
Overall: it’s a bit heavy in a couple of dimensions, but otherwise a decent enough American kölsch.

This was odd -- it had a definite light smokey flavor. Tasty, but not what I would consider normal for a Kolsch.
