Well behaved ducks rarely make history, so we continue to break all the rules regarding style parameters. Here we craft a session ale on a light base of wheat and 2-row malts. The simplified malt bill and low ABV allow the beauty of Mosaic hops and fresh citrus to shine through. Light, crisp, and delicately refreshing this brew allows you to "Waddle" away and forge your own footprint.

I tried a 4oz pour of this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a rour sample flight whilst in Vegas for my long time friend's wedding. It poured a hazy golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with sweet citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

On tap at Abel Baker brewing in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Over one of the best session IPAs, I’ve ever had.
Aroma is bright zesty in his presentation of citrus.
Flavor follows the nose faithfully. Greenville almost goes to the point of being creamy.
For style, the mouth peel is fairly substantial.

Cloudy, hazy look. Super light and smooth, a light taste of citrus and grapefruit in the after taste. Not a big fan of this style in general, looking for more hoppy profile.

about as good a session ipa as ive had, at least in recent memory, very hoppy and bold, but also super light to drink, no vegetal or green hop character, quite tidy overall, not missing anything or depleted in any way, and super fresh when we had it at the brewery, a really nice pint. hazy and super pale, unexpectedly dense for what it is visually, which makes its easiness surprising, a frothy white head fades only slowly, and this retains excellent carbonation the entire way. nose is citrus forward, meyer lemon and zesty grapefruit, clean and bright and brand new, with subtle herbal bitterness and faint melon juiciness to it, a nice complexion, pineapple too as it warms, wheaty and softly earthy, but not malty or starchy for how it looks, pineapple candy late. the flavor is more of the same, white grapefruit, white peach, orange juice, very subtle bitterness, high hop saturation but not forced or too intense, it doesnt even linger much past the swallow for its robustness. some lime zest, some mid palate sweetness but its not grainy in the classic sense, it stays dry at the end, light clover character, juicy and zippy, nice contemporary balance, and overall an excellent hop profile that is approaching the max out point in a beer like this, they got a lot out of whatever they used. really nice take on a session hazy.

Hey look at that, someone else did a review for a Nevada beer before me. Well here's the first one at this Next Glass owned database since 2021. This is from October 2022 when I was in Las Vegas for a work conference.
Pours a feint yellow, you can tell this is low malt/session strength. Its not big on the clarity. 1/4" white head. The aroma is a light dose of Mosaic. Mango, marionberry, blueberry, weed, papaya, passion fruit light like notes. This is why Revision > Able Baker, they would dump more hops into a hoppy beer.
Taste is a light grain basic 2 row input on top of Mosaic. That's it, that's the beer. And it works. Like legitimate works, not like some of those ladies of the night they place in mining camps as actual mining operators, wink wink.
The mouthfeel is nice and light, an easy one to crush. I could see how this could be plenty serviceable most of the year in those temps.
Oh wow, you live somewhere else your reputation has a harder time catching up to? Fascinating. Anyways, shocked you're single. I know, save the cope, by design, you're broken so you want it this way.

I have very low expectations when it comes to "session" IPAs, as it's extremely difficult to balance out the butter onslaught of massive hop additions with so little malt, but this one meets and maybe even exceeds those expectations.
Hazy, straw with medium white head.
Grapefruit is the predominant aroma.
Unfortunately, the citrusy hops have difficulty shining through the pronounced bitterness, but still tastes quite good.
Fairly thin body. Unsurprising considering the 4.5% abv.
Overall, a nice example of what can be done with such limiting criteria.
