Local amateur artist Naomi Benham provides us with the unique artwork for our inaugural Hazy IPA while our fantastic brewing tandem, Matt and Carlo, provide us with the liquid. In 1970 the most photographed nuclear explosion in history took place. That test, codenamed by the French "Licorne" (which translates as "Unicorn"), was a 914 Kiloton explosion carried out by suspending a nuclear device from a balloon filled with helium then detonating it 500 meters above ground. The resulting mushroom cloud and after effects were described as both "scary and stupendously beautiful" and photos of the explosion display the oxymoronic equipoise of it's destructive elegance. This Hazy IPA envelopes you with a soft mouthfeel, aroma, and flavor while delicately floating in the space between hoppy and fruity. When Able Baker Brewing was founded, we began to chase seemingly unattainable dreams, now several years later, as we celebrate our Grand Opening, we hope this mythical brew helps you slowly rise to meet your dreams......... and chase unicorns.

A 16oz can labeled #12 (edition?), canned on 11.13.25, picked up at the brewery. 6.5% Hazy IPA, with Krush & Nectarine hops

L - Bright yellow and hazy with no visibility, and 1 full finger of head which leaves lace all over the glass. Beautiful and obviously Hazy IPA

S - Citrus dominates the nose

T - Citrus dominates, orange and pineapple. Very refreshing and delicious

F - Medium body with heavy carbonation

O - An extremely tasty hazy IPA, with citrus bombs exploding in your mouth. Definitely seek it out.

Can labelled #6 version of this beer.

Look: hazy yellowish orange with a nice 1" head that lingers a bit.

Smell: fruity aroma is strong and pleasant.

Taste: orange, melon, a bit of biscuit. and a nice fruity flavor and moderate bitterness rounds it out.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp to start, a bit smoother at the finish.

Overall: a super easy to drink NE IPA that is fruity and satisfying.
