I got a tall boy can of this beer from the brewery whilst in Vegas for my long time friend's wedding. It poured a clear golden with no head and no lace. The scent had common grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright malt base with grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

mexican lager, light, off dry, easy drinking, good with fried and spicy food, simple in a good way, seems built for the hot weather here, and while not quite as exotic and fun as the best beers we had in here, it plays its role pretty effectively, no complaints. clear yellow beer almost unnaturally bright, short white head and good carbonation to it, a nose of corn sweetness, earthy pale malt, and light bready and even biscuit notes. mexican lager yeast is subtle, hops are mellow but in the citrus family and low on bitterness, and the whole may be greater than the sum of its parts here, basic and light, true enough to style, the corn does its thing, refinement is good without being amazing, but i like the complete lagering. the high carbonation is right for this, and its not thin or watered down feeling despite its overall ease. mid palate sweetness, later breadiness, but tidy on the swallow with some light lime from the hops and a faintly fruity aspect to the yeast in play. nice minerality and water chemistry, perhaps faintly soapy or estery, but ice cold this does its job more than adequately. better in the context of the food in here, but a fully decent mexican lager overall.

Had this beer back in December 2020 when putting up the xmas lights. Almost a year later, I am the one to add it to the database here at BA; gonna write a review too because I'm not a sociopath.

Pours a basic adjunct lager golden yellow with average clarity. 1/3" white head. The aroma was mostly corn. Mild lager yeast after that, very minimal, very evil. No hop presence.

Taste, eh, this is their BMC. And that is ok, gotta keep the lights on. Not everyone wants deer urine quadruple ipa. Has every aspect of a high carbonation, minimal everything else kind of beer. Its an easy consumption without any off flavors, they went for low flavor and I don't blame 'em, every brewery needs a beer like this from a financial standpoint. If anything, there might have been a heavier bready malt aspect, the corn keeps the bitterness and weight down at least I'm guessing.

Its nobody's favorite beer, but its the go to for the peeps who don't go for beer. I guess I'm still waiting for the Able Baker beer for people who like beer.
