In military terminology, Class VI refers to an on-base exchange or store where service members can access alcoholic beverages, such as beer. The purpose of Class VI is to provide service members with access to leisure products, and is often a service member’s favorite class, because it is the section alcohol falls under within the military supply and procurement system. It plays a key role in boosting morale, fostering camaraderie, and promoting espirt de corps! Class VI has always been a welcome sight for service members at home and abroad, during times of peace, and especially during times of conflict.
This bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout, which boasts notes of honey, vanilla, and oak, balanced by a tinge of spice from rye in the grain bill. It is boozy, yet approachable, and is a welcome sight in your hand.
We invite you to ask someone to our Class VI, relax, and socialize. You’ve earned it.

I tried a 4oz pour of this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a rour sample flight whilst in Vegas for my long time friend's wedding. It poured an opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had bourbon and common imperial stout notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with imperial Russian stout and bourbon presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
