Served on tap in a snifter
Appearance - served a lightly hazed amber color with a small head of foam. Head fades fast leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass
Smell - Aroma is strong of a floral and lightly funky smell mixed with lots of coriander, clove and pepper. Other aromas of peach and pear and a bit of cracker and toast are there as well. Notes of basil and chive are rounding it all out rather nicely.
Taste - Taste starts with a crisp and clean cracker and bready malt mixed with a big showing of spice of clove coriander and pepper. There are some basil and vegetal flavors as well, mixed with notes of yeast and sweet peach, apricot and pear. Some lychee and funk develop at the end, leaving one with a crisp, easy, and lightly funked taste to linger on the tongue
Mouthfeel - Crisp and light with a nice moderate carbonation level. Very easy natured.
Overall - A nice easy drinking and flavorful brew. We'll done!
