I'm trying this beer at the brewery. They have given it a name now....Contradiction ESB. It poured a clear amber with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent is weak...and non-descript save for hints of alcohol. The taste starts sweeter then finishes with a subtle tartness....and maybe anise. The Mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok certainly worth a try.

Contradiction ESB. Sample poured at the brewery. Reddish brown color. Not much of a nose. Nice caramel on the palate, roasted malts. Medium-bodied, smooth.
