12 oz. can. Pours a hazy violet with a finger of pink-tinted off-white head. Notes of blackberries, blueberries, stone fruits, vanilla, and mild acidity. Medium-bodied, with modest carbonation and a tart, fruity, semi-sweet mouthfeel.

Midwest fruit tart brewed with apricots, blackberries, and vanilla beans. Poured from a can into an Urban Artifact Thoroughbred tulip. The pour is a murky, purplish-red with about a finger of fine pink foam. Good retention for a sour beer. The beer smells like a fruit smoothie. I get the apricot and blackberry and also a surprising amount of vanilla, which kind of makes it smell like a sundae with fruit topping.

Medium body with a firm feel and a tart, fruity flavor. I get a lot of blackberry up front providing a high level of tartness along with just a bit of apricot to give it a pleasant citrusy bitterness. Not much vanilla on the palate that I can tell as the blackberry simply dominates here. Finishes sour with lingering flavors of lemon and blackberry.

Canned 1/22/20, keeps very well. Cool can too, with a tidbit on its namesake along with other brewing and serving info.

Poured like a blackberry slushie into a tulip, lots of leftover fruit pulp from the huge purple head. Good lookin for sure

Smells like a booze tinged berry smoothie, tastes about the same, nothing too crazy going here except that it’s very smoothie like. If that’s an apt descriptor.

Feels really nice, kinda gritty, almost expect some seeds like you would in a smoothie(one more time for good measure, smooooothie)

All around a good beer. Pretty cool to be honest, wouldn’t mind trying to make something like this someday. Would have again if it were offered in my area.

I'm a big fan of this brewer and this is yet another great achievement in sour brew.

It puts a little creamier than expected, and dirty red. The aroma does not give fair warning to the coming taste, which is a full pucker up. It sits all sour and ornery on your tongue for a while too.

Highly recommended, though it may not be for the uninitiated - try Gadget from this brewer first.

Murky purple body with a light brownish hue. Very nice blackberry tartness with a touch of stone fruit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, fairly pulpy. I enjoyed this as a fruited sour with a mild tartness to it. Pricey but refreshing.

Neon dark red with a fuzzy pink foam head that has low retention.

Taste is lightly tart, juicy and seedy blackberry with that herbal, fleshy and floral apricot finish. Both fruits are clearly present but at the same time do not combine in a new unique way. Just a faint touch of toast-like malt reminds you this is beer.

The body is relatively thick, smooth and luscious, with a fine carbonation and just dry finish.

An incredibly smooth yet complex synthesis of blackberry and apricot flavors. The successor the The Gadget in quality. Apricot seems to dominate the smell, but the two fruits blend effectively in the taste, with an almost citrusy finish. Would recommend any day.
