The Concord grape is the poster-child for intense grape flavor. Named after Concord, Massachusetts, the fruit is unambiguously American; a feature shared by this Midwest Fruit Tart's deep fruit character and 12% punch.

16 ounce can, canned 11/16/2022. Served in an Urban Artifact chalice, the beer pours a hazy reddish/purple color with about an inch or so light pink head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The aroma is sweet, the brew smells like Concord grapes and vanilla. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some tart grape and grape skin flavor noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's smooth, a bit coating and enjoyable to drink. Overall it reminds me of Astrolabe but with more of a boozy kick to it. ABV is well hidden but it does have a punch. I thought this was a good brew, worth picking up especially if you like Concord grapes!
